What is Home?

What is Home? The four-letter word that contains me. A word that seems to carry a semblance of peace and love, yet hidden in the letters often lies a Harmful, Oppressive, Monotonous Environment. If "home" were an acronym, that would make sense. However, not all homes are wolves in sheep's clothing. Some, no matter how few, live up to their idealistic name. Generally speaking, a home is difficult to define. Speaking personally, a home is not a place, nor is it a person. A home is, in fact, a thing—and there are some who make that thing something worth cherishing. The home I envision is a thing I currently find hard to describe with words. Difficult to define, yet not impossible. Through all my ramblings, my verdict is this: a home is something you never forget.
